About me:
DJ Paul Rodhy [Pioneer Pro DJ | Mix FM]
For the last decade, Paul Rodhy has been a usual presence on the DJ booths of all the best venues throughout Portugal.
Having a very privileged position in Lisbon’s clubbing scene, his DJ performances take place exclusively on the best House Clubs, such as: Kremlin; W Disco; Dock’s Club; The Loft; Queen’s; Paradise Garage. Other collaborations take him regularly to other venues outside of Lisbon like: Sushi; Faraó; DXL; Horta da Fonte; RS Klub; Roxy; Green Hill; and many others.
So far, besides playing with all top Portuguese DJ’s his name shared DJ line up’s with some superstar DJ’s like: Tiësto; Dave Clarke; Steve Lawler; John Cramer & Stephan K.; Chus & Ceballos; Francois Kevorkian; Sharam & Ali from Deep Dish; That Kid Chris; Eddie Amador; and many others.
Since 2004 he is a collaborator with “Pioneer Pro DJ” brand, becoming the official demonstrator in Portugal for 2006 and the following years. This situation leads to the Pro DJ Tour, which will take him to all major Portuguese venues, demonstrating the audiovisual component of DVJ-X1 + DJM-1000 + EFX-1000 combination.
In parallel he has his weekly radioshow on the only Portuguese radio station with 100% dance music contents: Mix Fm, in which he hosts the “Underground Sound From Lisbon - the radioshow”.
In the mix, you can expect a very demanding selection of quality tracks, remixed “on the spot” using samplers, loops and effects, demonstrating a surprising level of creativity and technical skill.
His musical style is fully based on House Music tunes, that can start on the deep soulful house, to a mind blowing progressive, passing through classics, tribal, electro and many other different styles. The most important thing is to keep the crowd partying.
His motto is: “The love of talking to people through music!”
