DJ MICHELLE PESCE from Youngstown, Ohio grew up on hip-hop and saw the power of music moving the crowd. Soon after acquiring her first set of turntables in 2000, Pesce met DJ Spinderella (Salt-N-Pepa) who mentored her and launched her into the LA hip-hop scene.
By 2004, the forward momentum in Pesce's DJ career positioned her as one of Hollywood's up and coming DJs. After five years as a talent publicist for some of the industry's top actors and musicians, she decided to leave her job and focus on the turntables.
DJ Pesce has performed at parties and clubs throughout the United States and abroad. She mixes the flavor of hip-hop with rock, funk and 80s-pop while always keeping an old school vibe. She can read any crowd and rock them, whether its a basement house party or a Hollywood red-carpet event. Pesce's services have been sought after by A-list talent such as Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson, Meg Ryan, Jeremy Piven, Wilmer Valderrama, Aisha Tyler, Donald Faison, Kelly Clarkson and Josh Hartnett. She has also performed at numerous fashion events for Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Macys, Yves Saint Laurent, Marni, Club Monaco, BCBG, Charles David, Puma, Nike and Miss Sixty.
