Precise has been djing for well over 10 years with his roots stemming as a turntablist. Back then Ryan won local competitions such as DJ Soundwars, placed runner up in DMCs and ITF DJ battles in the years 97 throughout to 99 and was invited to compete in the national competitions aswell. It was around this time Ryan had discovered the sound of funky Breaks and it was at this moment when his focus changed.
He infused his hiphop roots with funky breaks and created a niche in the Vancouver party scene with this sound. In no time Ryan was a resident for AGROculture and Twisted Productions funkin up the parties and also many of the massives in Vancouver.
He has played longside almost every single breaks act to pass by Vancouver and many others some which would include Krafty Kuts, Freestylers, Atomic Hooligan, Fort Knox Five, Mixmaster Mike, Aquaski, Bassbin Twins, Drummatic Twins, DJ Icey, Baby Anne, DJ Fixx, Sharaz, Madam Mercury, Tony Faline, Keith Mackenzie, and all the Big Gunz from Canada, DJ A-track, DJ Dopey, Lil Jazz, Czech, Matt the Allien, Big League Chu, Small town DJs and Vinyl Richie.
Today Precise maintans to play the banger shows but is now starting to concentrate on his own music. Stay tuned and keep updating to hear some new material online.
