Avec son alter ego kardinal et leur label techno goog qui ne cesse de monter dans les charts européens grâce notamment a leur deniers maxi jet lag ,LowKey est devenu en peut de temps un artiste incontournable de la scène electro française .Succédant a tonio et laurent garnier a la residence du mythique club dijonnais l'An-Fer,il a depuis enflammé nombres de dancefloors tout autour du globe avec son style sous influences rave,mêlant les grooves electro,techno et breakbeat.
Just as his close partner Kardinal, Lowkey has become one of the rising figure of French techno music thanks to a handful of impressive maxi. After maintaining a high successful residency in the mythic Dijon club "L'Anfer", succeding Tonio and Laurent Garnier, Lowkey has been keping the pace. His rave inspired style, offering a wide range mixture of electro, techno and breakbeat sounds, has been working club goers up into a frenzy. After numerous signature on different labels he eventually co-founds "Goog records" in 2005. The label gains more and more public suport, particularly with the newly released and mind blowing sedma ep, which he produces in collaboration with Kardinal and Scan x. The extremely popular Dafresh will be signing on the next maxi.
Ex résident techno,sous le pseudo dALEXL,de la demignère(1997/1999) et du mythique club dijonnais lAn-Fer(2001/2002),cofondateur du dj-shop ainsi que du label FREAKSION,LowKey est devenue en peu de temps la figure emblématique de la nouvelle scène bourguignonne de par sa technique de mix toujours impressionante et par sa diversité musical. Musicien de formation,il se lance dans la production en 2001 en produisant les deux premiers maxis de son label et se retrouve derrière les platines de l'An-Fer succèdant ansi a tonio et autre laurent garnier où il fera monter une foule en délire pendant des sets de six heures !!;il organise avec son associé freud les soirées freaks'ion dans le club l'embuscade et devient Programmateur du riva club en 2002,il continue son travail de production en réalisant le gazole 18 et le tekabloc 07.2004 voit la collaboration avec plusieurs artistes de le scène underground tel noisebuilder et popof des hérétiks qui deboucherons sur des maxis a tendances electrotech.En 2005 il crée un nouveau label,GOOG,avec son compère kardinal avec lequel il produit et se fait remarquer par le 1er ep du label « dancefloor heaven »et est remixé par Al Ferox.Playlisté par de nombreux djs tel tonio,Djedi aka electric rescue ou bien encore Rykkks ou tarlouf x,il sannonce comme un des futur grand de la scène française.Le prochain maxi de son label verra la signature de scan x(GOOG 03).

The boss of the Goog records label, Alex L aka LowKey, is celebrating his tenth year behind the turntables next June and to coincide with this is the release of the Goog 3 album. This gives you an idea of his career path on the French electronic music scene
LowKey first emerged on the electronic music scene in Burgundy at La Demignière, one of the pioneer underground clubs in the area. Here he became the resident DJ of the techno nights. Inspired by many of the big guns of the French electronic scene he became one of the most influential players on the emerging Burgundy scene. The other important factor was the, now defunct, LAnfer club. LowKeys flawless techniques and remarkable selection turned each of his dance floor techno sets into a new experience for a demanding public. He naturally succeeded the two previous DJs, Tonio and Laurent Garnier, and became the last resident of LAnfer in 2001. Memories of his six hours sets have inevitably lasted.
LowKeys ongoing wish to promote techno culture in the area led him to create his own label, Freaksion. The record shop he co-founded with his close friend Freud bore the same name as the label. At the same time he was organising and playing gigs in clubs like LEspace Grevin, Le Riva and LEmbuscade.
Former musician, LowKey has proved to be an eclectic artist. He demonstrates his command on every electronic spectrum: techno, electro, break and drumn bass- the latter being less and less performed. For each style he has the power to drive you into his deep emotional techno soul.
Producer as well, LowKey signed to labels like Gazole (UWE sub-division) or Tekabloc while various collaborations with big names like Popof or Noisebuilder (The Heretiks) took him a step further. Along with Kardinal they co-founded the Goog label in 2005. The first EP Dancefloor in the Heaven has been highly acclaimed. The track was remixed by Al Ferox and playlisted by numerous artists. The newly released Goog 3 includes a track produced by LowKey and a remix of a Kardinal track by Scan X.
June looks set to be a busy month with LowKey signing onto the label of the prominent Djedi aka Electric Rescue with a remix by the Spanish Leandro Gamez (Fiebar rec.) and a tour. The tour will include La Reunion and Mexico. After this you will be able to catch him playing throughout France delivering mind blowing mixes.
Our determined man has asserted himself on every playground. His dance floor techno sets have the crowds entranced in his hypnotic beats as they hit in just the right place at the right time. His mellow and more melodic electro sets are equally intoxicating. Lowkeys techniques and selection work you up into a frenzy. Check this out.
