WARP NIGHT - SANTIAGO DE CHILE, OCTOBER 15, 2009
El sello británico Warp Records, cumple 20 años y para celebrarlo Industria Cultural, Super 45 y British Council lo trae a Chile, en un showcase que incluye diversas actividades, como las emblemáticas presentaciones de Prefuse 73 y Plaid, además del músico revelación Tim Exile, todo esto acompañado de visuales a cargo del colectivo Flat-e.
Un evento único en nuestro país, debido a la magnitud que significa el disfrutar de uno de los sellos independientes más prestigiosos e innovadores del mundo, lo que aportará vanguardia y frescura al panorama local.
Más de 50.000 fotos fueron tomadas para este nuevo video clip de Dj Raff. Las locaciones escogidas fueron en Santiago y en las ciudades de Berlin y Paris, aprovechando la última gira europea del músico chileno en los meses de Junio, Julio y Agosto del presente año.

The Fête de la Musique, also known as World Music Day, is a music festival taking place on June 21, which is the northern solstice. Many free concerts are organized, making all genres of music accessible to the public and all performers donate their time for free.
La Fiesta de la Música es una celebración que se realiza el 21 de Junio, el primer día del verano del hemisferio norte. Su objetivo es promocionar la música de dos maneras. La primera que los músicos aficionados voluntariamente salgan a tocar a la calle. La segunda es con la organización de conciertos gratuitos, en los que el público tenga la oportunidad de presenciar sus artistas preferidos sin importar estilo ni origen.

These tracks were produced during my travels throughout diverse cities between 2007 and 2008. I’ve decided to make these tracks available, completely free of charge for your downloading pleasure. All of the music on this EP was composed outside my studio "El cuarto de maquinas" in Santiago, Chile.
Estas canciones fueron creadas entre viajes y distintas ciudades durante el 2007 y 2008. Decidí hacerlo totalmente gratuito para inaugurar esta serie de eps con instrumentales y canciones compuestas fuera de "el cuarto de máquinas" en Santiago.
Hailing from the far reaches of South America, Chile's DJ Raff has come a long way since his early excursions in Hip Hop and B-boy culture. During the 90's both music and culture were in a bad state due to the political transition, but thanks to his passion and visionary attitude, Raff was able to look forward and find his own direction. At home he experimented with a double tape deck and an old turntable, making loops and beats from artists such as NWA, Beastie Boys and Public Enemy. After years of meeting and working with likeminded youngsters from around Santiago, DJ Raff helped to sow the seeds of what is now considered one of the biggest and most important Hip Hop scenes of Latin America.
For over 10 years he has been at the forefront of a new generation of artists who have introduced new styles and forms of music into the Latin market. Raff's vast experience and upfront production skills have made him one of the most sought after producers in Chile, where he has made beats for many different artists and released his own solo material. It's no surprise that DJ Raff's reputation has crossed frontiers and spread across to the rest of the continent. His blend of creative sampling, phat beats, keyboard arrangements and scratching have already earned him a place amongst Latin America's most highly regarded and groundbreaking DJs and music producers.
