I don't need to tell everyone who knows who I am, that I love good music. By good, I mean music that is done with passion and conviction and engenders the same in the one who listens to it. I have a radio program on yROCKonXPN on Saturdays from 4PM until 8PM Eastern Time where I try to play some of that music. The music is mostly indie, alternative artists from Latin America and Spain, but I do play rock from all over the world. Que puedo decir, si al final lo unico que me interesa es propagar la buena musica del mundo hispano, latinoamericano y cualquier otra parte del globo en los EEUU. Tambien queria decirte que despues de oir "Cantares" en tu programa me puse a oir esas canciones de Serrat por primera vez en seis o siete años. Te digo que el tipo me impresiona más que nunca y repito que aunque él no tenga la cantidad de canciones inolvidables que tiene Lennon, Springsteen o Dylan, sus mejores canciones están al nivel de ellos.

Un grupo de celestes (seguidores del grupo sevillano Maga) empezó en 2005 a organizar fiestas en las que, los más avanzados en el mundo musical, se atrevían a subir al escenario y cantar versiones de sus grupos favoritos y presentar sus propias creaciones. Todos crecieron... y crecimos también. Así que evolucionamos, y tras 4 ediciones (Madrid y Sevilla), ya son muchos los grupos y solistas que se han paseado por el escenario de las fiestas Maga, entre otros Xelecta, Álvaro de Tristessa, Mi Rara Colección, Neiz, Solina, Camping Gas, Xoel DJ, Alga DJ, Terceraluna... Además contamos con una fotógrafa y diseñadora de lujo, Vane, que se encarga de carteles y fotos. La próxima cita es en otoño, el proximo dia 02/11/2007, en el Café La Palma (Madrid). El cartel es muy atractivo, las sorpresas están garantizadas y entre canciones, risas y buenos directos, todos venceremos la timidez.
hey Ramon, how are you doing? I am alright, except for my feet that are killing me due to the blisters I got myself at my first real job. I am a waitress in a fancy restaurant in Paris since yesterday, and well it is fun but tiring, by the time i am leaving for university I will be in great shape. Today I am not sure when I have to go off and work they said that I will be called, but up to now I have not received a phone call. So I think that I will probably not be able to listen to your show, but I might run into some famous people instead.
