I have had so much exposure to so much fine music over my career that it's hard to say which artist's or musical style's have influenced me the most. I can say that I thank god for exposing me to everything from musical Americana ( which would include traditional blue's, ole timey, true rock and roll, bluegrass, jazz, ect.) to the stuff from abroad such as traditonal european folk music, British blue's, 60's brit. pop, reggae and world , music of the great master and more. There's an abundant , limitless selection of good music available to all of us for our listening pleasure so why deny ourselve's any of this art. Lesson.... Think outside the box and reach out for and find that music that could be life changing. It can only stand to do just that . " Make one's life change, for the better"!
Ray Rossi has been involved in the music industry for well over 20 years. He has served in many capacities ranging from a Dj, studio musician, club owner, manager, agent, songwriter and more.
In the past few years, Ray has also kept his live musician chops in top form by playing percussion, harp and singing background vocals with Sherri Mullen's full band and trio projects. In 2002 and 2005 he lent his talents to Sherri's first 2 albums and spend several years touring regionally in support of them. Ray has also reinvented his Dj roots and again is performing weekly in various establishments using the mixing and entertainment skills which made him a household name in and outside of the central pa. area over the years. Ray was also one of the 3 finalists in the Hbgonline.com's best of 2006 best club Dj award.
Ray Rossi is a man with a constant thirst for musical knowledge and an unending passion for music that can only be quenched by remaining solidly anchored into today's music scene. Thus, He also works with many local and regional musical acts as their booking agent and assists several clubs in their entertainment scheduling.
