Married with 2 children, Oldschool dj started out mixing on 90.5 fm WCYC in 1983 under the direction of Kenny Jammin' Jason, went on to win numerous DJ competitions, also 1 release on Trax records (Are You Ready), Played all the Original House Venues & Night Clubs from The Grand Manor were me & DJ Miguel Rodriguez performed on 4 turntables in 1985, Jesse Velez headlined that show, R.I.P. to the Centrum, to the Maria Isabella Hall to the VFW on 45 & Western, Played Clubs from the Original Jenells at the Ambassador Ballroom, Fullerton & Pulaski,Prime & Tenders now Studio 63, to AKA's, to MALO's and too many more to remember, also held a residency at The Brass chalet on 47th & Western, I must Thank Kenny Jammin' Jason instilling the right mixing technics in me when he asked me to join the WCYC mixing family in 1983 along with Mario Reyes, he & The HOT MIX 5 continued to be a major presence in my career until I took a hiatus in 1990. I was fotunate enough to work at Trax records in 1985 were I became friends with all the heavy hitters of Chicago House, from Marshall Jefferson to Adonis, from Mr. Lee To Lidell Townsell, and releasing (Are You Ready) in 1986 co- produced by Mike Martinez of Taylor Street.
