--- New Zealand born DJ and producer Rob Salmon is best known for his quality releases on Deep Dish's label Yoshitoshi, his mixed CD 'Selections' (4th Floor/ Northcott) NYC House label Chez Music and now Hamburg's Save Room Recordings.
A DJ since the late 80's, Rob's sets are renowned, pushing the boundaries of contemporary club music. He has played at clubs and festivals around the world including nights at Centrofly, PS1 in NYC, Space in Miami, Zentra in Chicago, Bar Rumba London, The Big Day Out in Auckland and Chinese Laundry in Sydney. A skilled producer, Rob has collaborated with engineer Rob Rives (Wave Music) and has remixed tracks by a wide variety of artists from Human League to Barcelona's DJ Micasa. After many years in New York City, Rob left the US in 2003 returning back downunder to New Zealand. There he toured and hosted his own prime-time radio show on George FM. Rob has since settled in Sydney, Australia where he continues to DJ and is working on new studio productions along with contributing regular mixes to Pulse Radio . ---
