Deep Rooted Soul Music, from Jazz to Techno

Rogie's first foray was as a pirate radio dj, back in late 70's. In 1981, going legit, he started to broadcast regularly his radio show on Radio Nuovo Lido — FM 89,900MHz Genova. During this period Rogie began to play as disc-jockey at Psycho Club (Genova). He soon began to host radio shows in other local stations; then he had been playing in several venues such as Lukrezia Club (Genova) where, along with Astronaughty (Right Tempo Records), he resided on weekends in the early 90's. In 1998 Rogie made a guest dj set appearance on the cult programme Suoni e Ultrasuoni on national broadcasting Radio2 Rai. Among other clubs, in the 90's: the residencies at Fitzcarraldo and Break Beat Club (Genova); he also played in other venues such as Plastic and La Pergola (Milano), Link and Livello 57 (Bologna) etc. In the course of the last decade Rogie played alongside respected dj's on events such as: Freedom Rides with Astronaughty, and Together with Fabio De Luca (Weekendance — Radio2 Rai), to name a few. Rogie has been collecting records since the 70's, and on his sets he plays vinyl, ranging from Hip Hop, Soul, Funk, Jazz, Rare Grooves, Disco, Dub, Deep House, Detroit Techno.
