Steve is Co-owner & operator of Award Winning Bar & Nightclub, THE HILL, in Muswell Hill, North London alongside his best-friend of 20 years, Brian Taylor. The Hill is a increasingly popular Bar & Nightclub which, in just over 2 years since opening, has been one of the most sought after venues for parties, club events and launches in London.

Of course, there is much more to Steve than just owner of a nightclub.
For many years now, Steve has been honing his skills as a DJ in demand at clubs the length & breadth of the UK and all over the world in-fact. He has been running his own club nights under the name of "MYCLUB" since back in 1998 and regulars to these nights have witnessed some of the best parties anywhere - bar none!!!
Working alongside a tight team that includes DJ Sweet P & MC Tony T, Steve has played in front of many famous names the world over. But more importantly he has built up a solid & loyal clientele to his events that return time & time again in the knowledge that they will have a thoroughly great night-out.
The Hill, situated in Muswell Hill was originally the site for one of Steve's first "Myclub" parties in it's old guise of a club called Enigma. Steve held parties there for several months before moving onto another venue, The International Sportsmans Club in Kensington High Street. Here was where on a Saturday night you knew that the music, people & ambience were all going to be perfect. In the days when several high-profile clubs ruled London's nightlife, Myclub, was a break from the hype and type of clubs that displayed an arrogance amongst some clientele. Myclub used a guestlist system to ensure that their attendees were all known, not only to the promoters but to each other. Never did an arguement occur, let alone anything like a fight. This was a place for true connoisseurs of parting to congregate.
After The International Sportsman Club, MYCLUB moved to a plush Restaurant/karaoke bar called "Zen Garden". This was to be the first club promotion in a venue that is known today as "Funky Buddha". MYCLUB stayed here for 3 years before moving onto "The Mayfair Club" and then the universally famous, "Planet Hollywood". "Planet" became the biggest R&B night anywhere in London, attracting over 1500 people each week.
Moving on from "Planet Hollywood", Steve & Brian bought their first night club in Dover Street, Mayfair called "Shoeless Joes", now known as "Automat" and soon to be one of Londons most prestigious venues, boasting a New York style diner, fine dining restaurant & VIP nightclub, with a capacity of 850. Also at this time they opened their North London site, "The Hill", a trendy Bar & Nightclub, which brought the vibe and style of their West End venues to North London. This was the site of the old Green Man Pub & Enigma Club which housed MYCLUB all the way back in 1998.
Now the legacy of the clubnights Steve has been running for years can continue in a permanent home. A home that is as welcoming to the newcomers as it is to the regulars.
Previous to his illustrious DJing career, Steve was a full-time athlete competing for Great Britain in the Decathlon, hence the name "DJ RUNNING MAN". Further to this there was a rumour that Steve had special powers. Below is a picture taken of Steve caught in action, whilst running around the world (it really is Steve).
Steve celebrated his birthday at The Hill (where else?) and if you click the picture below you can view the photo blog by Hill Photographer, Gordy.

‘RIPPLE EFFECT’ "Keeping things conscious and following up their rather eclectic and experimental album Roots All Sorts, the MDV have just birthed a dynamic and vivacious live sound. Once again seasoned with that grounded MDV rootsy signature, the essence of this album speaks commandingly yet beneficently. The songs illustrate the bands live proficiencies - a steady resonance of authentic Roots Reggae, very often abandoned by the sounds of today. Ripple Effect is an intelligent and fresh assemblage of brilliant tunes with a slice of instrumental experimentation. Enjoy!" -AMF68
