DJ S1 has been spinning with some of the top runners in South Florida for a while now. While being able to set the mood with any crowd, impressing partygoers with talent and rhythm comes easily to him. He was an apprentice for DJ Felix "Slammin" Sama and studied the art of “dj’ing” at Sama’s Rhythm City music school several years ago. Upon graduation, DJ S1 (then known as DJ Slik) was invited to perform on the morning show on WPOW Power 96 FM, which ultimately led to several more appearances. It wouldn’t take long for DJ S1 to get back on the radio and soon after he created a show of his own, entitled “The Flava in Ya Ear Show” which aired on 95.3 FM, 88.1 FM, and 96.9 FM. He is a member various organizations including the Fleet DJs, All Out All-Stars as well as the acclaimed Hood DJs created by DJ EFN. This young talent has also released numerous mix tapes alongside Pitbull, Paul Wall, Clinton Sparks, Benzino, AZ, and Capone of CNN to name a few. Recently, DJ S1 was hired by Estee Lauder Companies to perform at several events for the launch of Sean John’s “Unforgivable” fragrance in Latin America. As of April 2007, DJ S1 signed on to do a monthly mobile mix show that’s syndicated on Sprint & US Cellular Radio, which airs twice a day every day on the Focus on the DJ channel.
