About me: Safari grew up in the south of Madrid------------------------->started djing with his father doing party tapes-------------->High School arrived and Safari was having heaps of fun-----> time with a good friend Agustin------------------------------------------->mostly when the house was empty, there were some belt-driven turntables that got transformed into pitched-controlled ones, handymen------------------------------------>promoting clubs with harder sounds, the techno era was starting and the inflexion point came one night, at Circulo de Bellas Artes, it was a Static Sound System party featuring some of the best Detroit techno DJs; ever since Safari pursue music, continuously buying records, cds, tapes… Rock'n'Roll Techno whatever sounded good ------------------------------------------------>Working for Sala Maravillas (the creators of the Benicassim Festival) and running a radio show (La Licuadora) he got told how to party even better!!------------------> a few months in London, Safari moved to Australia, Melbourne----------------------------->After a period of uncertainty in Melbourne, Safari met Jimmi Electrix, who made him play every night for over four months in a studio with a view in the CBD------------------------->Soon the gigs started to come and with no expectations his musical life started to be linked to Honkytonks-------------------------------------------------------------------->with no time he was warming-up or closing down sets for international the likes of Radio Slave, Stacey Pullen and Rober Babicz (aka Rob Acid)------------>Now spending more time in the studio, soon you will here the Safari style........you never know what is around the corner: lions, giraffes or hyenas???-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->Check this mix:
