2007 was a SMACKER of a year for DJ Sarah Love with...
- A World Tour that began in May included headline shows in: Africa, Thailand, Hong Kong, India, Dubai & the UK.
- TV appearances on MTV Base Europe, MTV Africa & Trace TV France, not to mention presenting on Trevor Nelson's ‘The Lick’.
- Performances alongside legends such as KRS One and Shortee Blitz.
- Magazine features in 2007 included Trace magazine in USA and Europe, Touch magazine, Back 2 Basics Australasia, Hip Hop Connection International and Rewind magazine.
- Online features in 2007 included hiphopelements.com, funkduplondon.com and 93til.com.
- Last year also saw Sarah work as the main model for A Lie Clothing and Weave Couture Collection, as well as collaborating with clothing brands such as, Puma, Adidas, 55 DSL, Not Bad For A Girl, Kung Fu London and 84 Fresh.
BUT... the real cherry on the cake was when she joined the 1Xtra family in September to DJ on the all new weekly Hip Hop M1X Show.
So that was 2007!!!! What’s in store for DJ Sarah Love for the start of 2008?...
- From the 21st Jan, Monday to Saturday, Sarah will be presenting DJ Takeover on MTV Base. Sarah will be picking classic cutz from 5 different black music genres.
- At 1Xtra towers, Sarah will be hosting the 1Xtra Hip Hop Show for Semtex on the 25th and 26th of January. So you can tune into 1xtra’s 1st lady of Hip hop for 3 nights straight over that weekend!
- And the 8th of Feb brings the return of the Annual Sarah Love Valentines Bash held at London’s super club Fabric with Kung Fu. Sarah will be following up last years road block with The Extended Players and Kyza.
