The funk started as i pretended i had a drum set on my desk in grade school, its been on since. I felt the boogiedom and rhythmness from the phunkie beats of drums . My parents would never buy me a set of drums so i made some of buckets and garbage cans. At the age of 9 i took my allowance money and bought my first 45" piece of vinyl, "numbers" by Kraftwerk. The electronic generated sounds embedded their waves deep into my soul. In 1984 Fred Durst , Steve Poole , Adam Clonniger and myself formed a Break Dance group called "The Wreckless Crew". We dominated floors across the carolinas for a year or two then we got drivers license and all went different ways in life .Years expired and many other genres of music were introduced to my ears . Then one random night i was leaving a night club and stumbled upon a late night club that had djs playing some dookie beats that made me wanna start break dancing again. Being that i was in no shape to murder the floor as i did years ago i transfered that desire to playing the same music so i could watch others get there boogie on. I started dj..ing in 2004 , producing in mid 2008. I love the classic " florida breaks" style with a hint of some 808 kicks . Im not producing break beats for the money (obviously) its only for the love i have for this dying genre of electronic dance music. I can only hope that it doesnt die out completely and get my music into the virgin ears of those who never knew there was such a funky energetic style of dance music __________________________________________________________P~Sout
