DJ SELTZER
Destacado Músico, DJ y Productor Chileno especialista en eventos de alta convocatoria. Desde muy pequeño la música fue su inspiración gracias a su padre (músico guitarrista del desaparecido grupo de rock "Los Beat 4") quien potenció en los 6 hermanos un oído musical. Estudió sonido y marketing, áreas donde se desarrolla actualmente. También es profesor de la Escuela Audiomúsica, donde capacita a los futuros DJ’s que van en busca de aprender la experiencia y tecnicismos de la cultura musical.
Ha sido DJ de Tiro de Gracia, Boomer & Sindicato de la Danza, Funkreal, Carito Plaza, Cuarto Universo, Bárbara Muñoz y ha trabajado con DJ Cia & Helião RZO (Brasil), Maxi Alarcón, Mawashi, Solo Di Medina, Jimmy Fernández, Tea Time, C-Funk , Vanbuda, Afy, Anzestro, Juan Sativo entre otros destacados artistas.
Su experiencia con los vinilos en la técnica, scratch y buenas mezclas de "Black Music", lo han llevado a participar en numerosos eventos internacionales realizados en nuestro país y el extranjero donde se destacó con sus DJ Sets en São Paulo (Brasil), además de Monterrey (México) donde abrió el show para El Chojin y también a Plastilina Mosh.
Fué endorsado por Vestax y ahora lo es por Rane & Serato Scratch Live, además integra la banda "Tributo al Funk" con destacados músicos nacionales.

Music is his inspiration since he was a little boy. It happened first thanks to his father (musical guitarist) who promote music to his 6 brothers and make them develop musical listening aptitudes. From the beginning he started listening to jazz discs, classic material, opera-rock or funk old school cassettes, until in 1990 he discovered rap and later on the Hip-Hop urban movement that identified him. From that point, he begun to develop his career that defined his essence in what he called “Contemporary Renaissance of the Arts”. He is a musical collector and a professional DJ, since he started mixing music with cassetes, like Run Dmc, Public Enemy, Tone Loc, Mellow Man ace, among others. In those times, when the movement of rap settled in democracy (like in 1998 settled down, in the remembered station mapocho), where he grew and he get to know many colleagues who nowadays conform the strong scene of rap of the country.
He also develops himself in other areas; he studied sound and marketing. At the moment, his still developing in these areas demonstrating his “Freshness" (Seltzer) and he profess that through music and also a spiritual path, world can be changed into something better. His serious work for the hiphop culture and for communications, make him give brightness day by day to this world just like a star in the darkness.
In the Underground movement of Santiago he participated in different musical projects with groups from the scene like: Teo Casta and the collective of rap Conexxión, in 1999 where it began to consolidate on a par working in radial programs of black music through the city and other artistic-cultural projects with different social organizations, academies of dance-spectacles and institutions, national and international events, obtaining the confidence of companies through time, promoting there trade mark in the local hiphop environment.
Outstanding with vinyl’s technique, good mixtures of hiphop, funk, soul and black music in general (in its hundreds of celebrations), plus its musical Freshness, achieving the necessary groove so that “Dj Seltzer” appears in the best clubs of the country, made him now a days one of the best exponents ever in Chile.

Después de un mes exitoso repleto de sonidos e increíbles invitados, Julio se despide para darle la bienvenida a Agosto. La cruzada inevitable que hemos asumido por destacar a los muchos grandes artistas sonoros de este país continua, es por eso que la invitación esta hecha desde ahora para que puedan escuchar y ser participes de este gran espacio. Agosto se viene cargado de múltiples sorpresas pero lo más interesante de todo serán las presentaciones de los artistas que tendremos. De alguna u otra forma este mes esta dedicado a aquellos personajes que siempre nos hacen mover los pies en todos lados, LOS DJ..S!!!
