| General | I love music. LOVE IT! I've been digging the crates for over a decade, and gone through many genre "phases." My base is downtempo, but in the past few years, I've really gotten into breaks. I'm an avid traveller. I love spicy food, practical jokes, roller coasters, hammocks, back scratches, eating family-style, and genuinely friendly people. Like to snowboard, hike, fly fish, dance till dawn, play bball, tennis, & ping pong. I'm a scientist at heart and an aspiring inventor. | | Music | Where do I begin? Music makes my world go round! There's no way I could list all my favorites, but I'll mention a few. On the downtempo side, the chill beats of Kruder & Dorfmeister, Nightmares on Wax, Thievery Corp., Tosca, Massive Attack, Tricky and Portishead. Kick it up a notch with some St. Germain, Sasha & Digweed, Leftfield, Groove Armada, J. Boogie or Llorca. Then throw on some more St. Germain to clean the palette. Now, time to jump into the deeeep end with Derrick Carter, Ben Watt, Jay J, Lawnchair Generals, Jay Hannan, Farina, Migs, Lil Louie, Kevin Yost, Marques, Julius. Now, let's get off the 4s and on the floor with some breaks. That dirty, raw, gritty sound tickes my soul. DJ Fixx, Mutiny, General Midi, Rogue Element, Atomic Hooligan, Baby Ann, Breakfastaz. Finger Lickin good! Now let's move into some progressive trance until you go cross-eyed. Kimball Collins, PVD and Dragnfly are some of my "Residents". Wait till you hear the tracks I just picked up in Goa. I love discovering and sharing great new tunes. Come out for a boogie next time I'm on the decks! | | Movies | Usual Suspects, Memento, Fight Club, Office Space, O Brother Where Art Thou, My Blue Heaven, Braveheart, Amelie, Happy Gillmore, Kung Fu Hustle. | | Television | Daily Show, Colbert Report, South Park, That 70's Show, News Radio, Discovery/History/Travel Channels. I try to keep away from the tube as much as possible, but it's easy to get sucked in. | | Books | "The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page." | | Heroes | Hell yeah! I missed the first few episodes, but now I'm all caught up and psyched for season 3! |
