Greetings... My name is Stan Bauer, but I am better known by my on-air name of Stack or my producer/dj name of Shadowfall. I would like to think of myself as a "veteran of music", having been in the scene on many levels for well over 30 years. Whether it was while performing on oboe in various symphonic organizations including the prestigious US Air Force Band, engineering sound for rock acts such as Shooting Star, George Thorogood, Utopia, Donnie Iris and many more, or performing on guitar with groups like Phyz, Beggar's Velvet and others. In addition, various stints on FM radio through the years kept me interested in the scene up until Di (my wife, partner and true soulmate) and I built and launched Overdrive Underground (www.odu.fm)
to help lend ears to those that need them the most. It was from The ODU that our two labels, Andromeda Recordings and Elliptical Recordings were born, with the same mission of putting the emphasis of music back on the music itself.
