| Influences | DJ Shambala was born in Pasadena California, and grew up in Colombia and Miami. He is a dance music DJ and producer, and the latest member of SysEx Records electronic music label.
Shambala begann mixing drum and bass records at the age of 22, and by 26 was DJing at multiple residences in Florida. He began to explore House Music and quickly acquired a reputation as one of the top Florida DJs, and demand for his services saw him playing at top clubs such as Pacha NY, Khrome FL, multiple Earthdance Festivals, and Shattuck Down Low in Berkeley, California.
Shambala has garnered several accolades including Best of Suncoast '07 - Creative Loafing, SRQ Magazine Hot List and multiple Herald-Tribune articles and interviews.
Shambala has recently emerged as a producer and remix talent, remixes all styles including House, Trip Hop, DNB, and Minimal Tech.
Shambala partnered with SysEx Records in 2008 and is concentrating on making new beats for his career as a DJ and remixer, as well as for the masses also.
