Encountered Hiphop by spraying graffiti in 1994, he came across deejaying through a good friend two years later. Fascinated by the turntables, the mixer and the thousands of records being placed around him, he was initiated. After incredibly many sessions, sometimes far into the night, on maybe five square meters of outgrown children's room and amidst the best record collection in town, like Grandmaster Flash, The Sugerhill Gang, Big Daddy Kane and Kurtis Blow, just to name a few. Now he was getting into it to such an extent that soon the first turntables plus mixer were put into his own room.
By and by Dj Sket had his first gigs at several parties and Hip Hop Jams in Pforzheim and its environs. Now Dj Sket somehow had the status of a test object - no one has released a mix tape in the "Golden City" Pforzheim before. Reactions were consistently positive. Dj Sket's characteristical style already emerged on his first release: "On a mix tape there has to be a little bit of everything." From that point onward Pforzheim's scene keeped his name in mind.
For two years Dj Sket was also able to prove his skills as a tour Dj - and he launched his second mix tape. On his way he got to know many interesting people; that let him expand his connections further. In this way he met his later band colleagues Doc Voc and Feeser with whom he coined "Flexibel". Multiple contributions on samplers and mix tapes followed and even live gigs were not a long time coming at that time.
This acquaintanceship finally led Sket to the next level in late 2000: he began producing his own beats. At first Doc Voc of Flexibel looked over his shoulder before Sket was progressing with his own equipment and learning the essential components of a tight track on his own.
The skilled printer intensively worked with beats, snares and hihats and soon in Pforzheim it was stated: "He stopped DJing". Far from it! Sket was able to live out his creativity in his band Flexibel and next to the Dr. Jekil he could realize the Mr. Hyde in production.
In 2004 Dj Sket started the project Prime Tunes with three DJs from Stuttgart. A yearlong successful club-tour through the Southern German nightlife followed - for example a resident evening in "Club Zollamt" and „Zapata Club“ Stuttgart, where he played with famous international DJs like Dj Dice (Das Efx/Redman), Dj Babu (Dilated Peoples) and at the official after-show party of the MTV Hip Hop Open in Stuttgart.
Along the way mix tapes with Dj Lenzageddon, which was sold by Mastertapes, or the project with Dj Odie named "Dance Sucka" in 2006 were released. Several projects and releases are following constantly anew.
In his homebase Pforzheim he is a pioneer in booking US American acts. Inter alia he organized the memorable concerts of The Shapeshifters and Subtitle, Fade from New York who is signed on the label Fat Beats, The Birthday Bash of J-Ro of the Alkoholiks, as well as Oddisee & Trek Life.
Dj Sket is also requested abroad - he elated great audiences for example in Switzerland, Spain, Croatia, Macedonia, Slovenia, Serbia and Finland. Today he is a resident Dj in Club Zollamt Stuttgart, Rude 7 Mannheim and Element Club Pforzheim. He performs most of his bookings with his partner Dj Lenzageddon as the "Blazin Brothers Soundsystem".
Since 2009 Dj Sket is also playing on the radio. He can be listened several hours a month live on BM Radio. There you can get a little foretaste that reflects his longtime experience and quality.
In plain language: if massive Hip Hop beats, hot club sound reaching from RnB to Black or disco dance classics of the 70's, 80's and 90's - every musical taste is being served to the fullest. Be excited about experiencing Dj Sket live - he has fallen into the magic potion of Funk.
Dj Sket fester Bestandteil der Hip Hop Szene
1994 durch Graffiti mit Hiphop in Berührung gekommen, stieß er zwei Jahre später durch einen guten Freund aufs Deejaying. Fasziniert durch die Plattenspieler, den Mixer und die um sich herum befindenden Dutzenden von Platten, ließ er sich von ihm in die Kunst einweisen. Nach unglaublich vielen Sessions, bis teilweise tief in die Nacht, auf vielleicht fünf Quadratmetern Jugendzimmer und inmitten der besten Plattensammlung der Stadt à la Grandmaster Flash, The Sugerhill Gang, Big Daddy Kane und Kurtis Blow, um nur einige zu nennen. Nun stieg das Interesse und so dauerte es nicht lang, da standen die ersten Plattenspieler samt Mixer daheim im eigenen Jugendzimmer.
Mit der Zeit kamen dann auch die ersten Auftritte auf diversen Partys und Jams in Pforzheim und Umgebung. Nun hatte Sket aber auch den Status eines Versuchskaninchens inne, denn vor ihm hatte keiner in der Goldstadt ein Mixtape auf den Markt geschmissen. Die Reaktionen waren durchweg positiv, Skets charakteristischer Style zeichnete sich bereits auf seinem ersten Release ab: "Auf einem Mixtape muss von allem ein bisschen was drauf sein". Ab diesem Zeitpunkt merkte sich die Pforzheimer Szene diesen Namen.
Auch als Tour-Dj konnte sich Dj Sket zwei Jahre unter Beweis stellen und in dieser Zeit sein zweites Mixtape auf den Markt bringen. Unterwegs lernte er viele interessante Leute kennen, dadurch konnte er seine Beziehungen weiter ausbauen. Auf diese Art lernte er seine späteren Bandkollegen Doc Voc und Feeser kennen, mit denen er FLEXIBEL ins Leben rief. Es folgten mehrere Beiträge auf diversen Samplern und Mixtapes, auch Liveauftritte ließen seiner Zeit nicht lange auf sich warten.
Diese Bekanntschaft brachte Sket schließlich Ende 2000 in die nächste Stufe, dem Produzieren eigener Beats.
Andi (Doc Voc) von Flexibel schaute ihm zunächst auf die Finger, bevor Sket sich auf seinem eigenem Equipment das entsprechende Knowhow holte und die wichtigsten Bausteine eines tighten Tracks kennenlernte.
Der gelernte Drucker befasste sich so intensiv mit Beats, Snares und Hihats, dass es in Pforzheim bald hieß: „Der hat mit dem Auflegen aufgehört“.
Doch damit weit gefehlt: Bei seiner Band Flexibel konnte Sket sich kreativ
völlig ausleben, neben dem DJ Dr. Jekil konnte er hier den Mr. Hyde in Sachen Produktion verwirklichen.
2004 startete Sket mit drei Stuttgarter DJ-Kollegen das Projekt Prime Tunes. Vor ihm lag eine einjährige erfolgreiche Clubtour durch das Nachtleben im süddeutschen Raum. Zum Beispiel mit dabei: Resident im Club Zollamt und Zapata Club in Stuttgart, wo er mit internationalen DJ Größen wie DJ Dice (Das Efx/Redman) oder Dj Babu (Dilated Peoples) spielte, und die offizielle Aftershowparty der MTV Hip Hop Open in Stuttgart.
Nebenher erschienen weitere Mixtapes wie das mit Dj Lenzageddon, welches über Mastertapes vertrieben wurde, oder das Projekt 2006 mit Dj Odie „DANCE SUCKA“. Weitere Projekte und Veröffentlichungen folgen ständig aufs Neue.

Heute ist er Resident im Club Zollamt in Stuttgart, im Rude7 Club in Mannheim und im Element Club Pforzheim. Die meisten Bookings performt er mit seinem Partner Dj Lenzageddon als THE BLAZIN BROTHERS SOUNDSYSTEM.
Seit 2009 ist Dj Sket auch im Radio tätig. Mehrere Stunden im Monat ist Dj Sket Live auf BM Radio zu hören. Hier kann man sich schon einen kleinen Vorgeschmack ins Haus holen, welche die langjährige Erfahrung und Qualität widerspiegelt.
Im Klartext: Ob derbe Hip Hop Beats oder heißer Clubsound von RnB bis Black bis über die Disco Dance Classics der 70er, 80er und 90er wird jeder Geschmack zur vollsten Zufriedenheit bedient. Wer Dj Sket einmal Live erleben möchte, der sei gespannt. Er hat den Funk mit Löffeln gefressen.
