"Santogold somehow gets sleeker and shinier in this high-tech remix, proof that sometimes even polish can benefit from a little more polish." -Rolling Stone
"How to turn a hackneyed track inside out and give it a entire new touch, that our jaws drop open, is what Dallas’ DJ duo Left & Right are demonstrating with no sweat and one-armed...This version of Left & Right is all but impossible to beat, even if you would attach a bag of gummi bears for us!" -The Fast Life
"The dynamic Dallas duo return, this time with an electro/house remix of Santogold's "L.E.S. Artistes" rife with bass of digital and analog origins. Left/Right contributes bass guitar licks as well as backing vocals. If you're looking for a pre-weekend jam to barrel through the rest of the week to, look no further, thine jams hath descended upon thee." -Azltron
"Turns out, the remix done by the boys in Left/Right is a surprising, but not totally unexpected piece of good work. The tempo is great, the various breaks within are really well-placed and well done and nothing takes completely away the original's vibe or style." -The Culture of Me
"Damn good party remix!
Supernice...thanks guys, most stuff i get sent is not worth talkin bout. This is good work." -Malente
"There have been many attempts at remaking the indie hit 'Shut Up And Let Me Go' but none have cut the track to my satisfaction till now... Left/Right are keeping the Dallas scene afloat with praise sure to follow on remixes this tight." -VoulesRandom
"Ting Left, Ting Right: time to look both ways before crossing the street.... It’s only fitting [The Ting Tings] get the nice breakbeat treatment from Left/Right out of Dallas Texas. Left/Right (Chris Lund (Left) and Justin Russell (Right)) have been busy pumping out the goodness for a little bit and are some dj/producers you need to keep an eye out for!" -IpodFood
"I have to say this has a different feel to it. It's quite refreshing actually, quite innocently the dirty track masked with Katie White's voice." -Sundtrak

Break The System features several tunes of ours including exclusive sneak peaks at two forthcoming releases on Sound of Habib: Gangbang, an original collaboration with Digital Pizza (formerly DJ Midway), and our remix of Jurassik's Operator. The rest of the mix includes many tracks featured on thisisbreaks, and a lot of promos-turned-hits that we never got around to putting in a mix until now. Finally we snuck in a spanking unreleased tune by Far Too Loud which is forthcoming on Funkatech. Right now, we're quite busy doing 2 more originals with Digital Pizza and working on a new alias Team Awesome, not to mention scoping out a new sound for L/R and a full live show.
Get Even feat. Colin Munroe (Left/Right Club Mix) - The Kickdrums
Revenge is a dish usually best served cold, but this tune is deliciously hot and fresh from the oven. Drawing from an array of different tastes and influences, Get Even combines The Kickdrums sharp lyrics and chunky guitars, Left/Right's signature basslines and dancefloor spice, and Colin's flavorful hooks to make this song a savory success. Bon appetit, and dig in!
Love Is A Drug (Left/Right Remix) - The Kickdrums Itunes Amazon
Left/Right have been busted dealing yet another primo remix…this time joined by Ohio partners in crime The Kickdrums. “Love Is A Drug,” a rocking breaks banger, will inject your veins with a heavy dose of electro. Prepare to get hammered by pounding rhythms, fried on high-adrenaline synths, and wasted by bass so intense it should be illegal. L/R cook the indie titans' original into a dancefloor hit that will find you in the gutter itching for more.!

BIOGRAPHY
Left/Right (Chris Lund and Justin Russell) have had a passion for sharing and listening to electronic music since their youth. The two met in 2000 and quickly started their first residency, "Metamorphosis," playing a unique blend of edgy dance music in the heart of Deep Ellum. They immediately began throwing larger events and became actively involved in djing and promoting with Dallas’s finest production team: Full Access. Before long, L&R was being booked regularly throughout the metroplex and out of state: for large electronic music festivals, on the air, and for their mesmerizing video sets.
With degrees both in music composition and audio engineering, the duo began consistently producing breaks in early 2007 and soon saw their first release in the beginning of 2008. After charting as a breaks best seller, Left/Right’s music was finally being heard all over the world. With the unique ability to integrate their own original production and personal style, L/R’s dj sets are always packed with adrenaline, rocking, and precise.
Just back from their recent trip to Colorado, Left/Right is currently working on a a new original breaks track with a fresh local breaks producer, and several new dj mixes for the air and download. They are constantly involved in various musical collaborations and collecting new tunes. Chris and Justin love electronic music… and want to share their music with you.
