Nemanja Dragojlovic aka DJ Sonero Born in Belgrade-Yugoslavia.
One of the first DJ's in Serbia who started playing Latin music.

He practically formed and developed the Serbian Salsa club scene, and he is now considered as the top Balkan Salsa DJ

In that time his friends and the whole neighborhood was into Hip Hop so he grow up listening to bands like Public Enemy, Afrika Bambaataa, Ice T...
When a party was on, he always asked the local DJ if can spin with him a few songs, so in time he started working his own parties and fell in love in "spinnin" .

Experimenting with new sounds while spending all his money buying cassettes and records, he gets to radio and clubs playing Reggae, Dancehall, Raggamuffin, Afro, Jazz... In 1997. he comes in touch with Brazilian music and dance, his first latin love. Since then till this very day he has been passionately trying to promote Latin culture in Serbia by organizing the biggest Salsa parties, from the most famous Salsa party ever in club "Radovic" with 250-300 people every friday and saturday for 2 years straight along with DJ Branko, Havana club, La Revolucion, VIP, Cubismo, ... Organizing numerus Capoeira, Samba, Salsa, Afro Cuban, Modern Ballet schools and workshops with the best international dance instructors, alone or together with beosalsa.com, the first Afro-Latino Internet portal in Serbia... He also works as one of the main organizers for the 1st Salsa Congress Serbia

DJ Sonero is the only Latin DJ and Dance Teacher from Serbia that is working regularly on international Latin Music and Salsa Congresses and Festivals, and his biggest inspiration to start playing international was Lubi Jovanovic aka DJ Lubi, one of the most famous Latin DJ's in the world. Lubi made the biggest influence on Nemanja. Sonero quote: "I see Lubi as my teacher/DJ role model, he is gOOd peOple, u know. Great person, honest and sincere. great friend"

In one of the most famous music festivals in the world, EXIT festival, Sonero had the pleasure to work on as a DJ, MC and a Dancer for three years in a row with many famous Latin bands from around the world and great DJ's like DJ Lubi from UK, DJ Clandestino..

The professional DJ name "Sonero" came from love for the "old school" music and dance, the roots of Salsa that we call today the Son, rumba, mambo... Latin and American Jazz and Hip Hop, R.N.B., Funk, Reggaeton... he loves it all, always ready to play it anytime everywhere!

Along with music, he works as a choreographer and professional dancer in the theater using classical ballet and modern dance techniques which in time influenced his specific style that he also uses on the Latin dance floor.

From NY to Puerto Rico and the roots of Cuba to the modern Timba, when you are on the dance floor you will definitely feel his love of music that he enjoys playing for everyone.
