Soulhunter was born in 1981 in the east of Berlin. Since his teenage years he was really intersted in elektronik musik and everything around it. so he read magazines like frontpage and so on. At the age of 17 he bought his first pair of turntables and started spinning an collecting records. During a short time he he had his first gigs in his home town and suround it. He started with spinning house records but during a short time he came over electro and two step to breakbeats, which he is spinning untill today in all off its differend styles, and created his own style.
In the year 2001 Soulhunter had his first Berlin gig. During the time he had a lot of more gigs in and around Berlin. He played for example at parties like Dangerous Drums, C21 and Break The Law. Since 2003 Soulhunter is resident together with Gaya Kloud at the weekly Beatenterprises party at the Delicious Doughnuts in Berlin. At this party they were presenting breaks which are not that often played in clubs but which have to be played. But finally this party ended in autumn 2005.
At the moment soulhunter has got a residency at one of the best running Breakbeat Parties in southern germany called Lucky Break in Stuttgart.
Souhunter had his first release together with Drawat 137 in 2003 on Dangerous Drums Records. Their track "Roll The Bass" was featured on the "It's A Berlin Thing Vol. 2" sampler. In 2004 Dangerous Drums released the soulhunter track "Let Your Body Groove" on their "It's A Berlin Thing Vol. 3" compilation. At the moment he is working on new material together with his mate Jessey.
