    DJ Story was born in Jamaica, and was inspired musically by his Dad who toured in an old-school roots reggae band, Justin Hinds & The Dominoes. In 1998, Kip, the lead singer for the famous rock band, Winger, saw Story's musical potential, so he helped set up a home recording studio. Around the same time he attended a DJ workshop to the learn the art of mixing house music. He has been producing his own music and DJing for 13 years starting out in New Mexico, California, and Burning Man. He later lived in Hawaii and traveled between there & the West Coast for 7 years playing music at Synergenesis (full moon gatherings), Source Festival, Mystic Garden Party, and many more events. Living in Asheville now for the last year, he plays bass synth & didgeridoo in the local world music band, Nataraj. DJ Story's latest album, Seed of Sound, is available in the iTunes music store. It mixes Story's intuitive beats with dynamic atmospherics and potent basslines. It appeals to progressive house, psychill, trance, and dub fans everywhere.
