Hallo :) My name is Stoyan Stoyanov and i live in Sofia, Bulgaria. Im currently working on several projects including audio, design & visuals and promotion.I got into music at the age of six, attending National Music School “Liubomir Pipkov”, and studying piano and music theory. When i became 16 i started going to parties and my passion for electronic music drove me to start producing. At this time i met 4 guys that share the same passion for hypnotic sounds as me and founded “Magrathea” - a promotion based in Sofia, Bulgaria, dedicated to presenting our vision for contemporary music and visual art.Currently I'm studying "Computer & Multimedia Technologies" in New Bulgarian University.
MUSIC
As a DJ i have been influenced by the psychedelic sounds in my early years, but since 2002 progressive music is my favourite direction when i play. Since 2001 i have in most of the majour clubs in Bulgaria, and appearances on many open-air and hall events.I'm also resident of Magrathea promotion and co-organiser of "Earthdance Festival Sofia". VISUAL
Since 2003 i work as a full-time graphic designer, first in "Biss Advertising" and now in "Actavis Bulgaria".I also have a lot of freelance projects including print, web & animation. As a VJ i have appiarances since 2003.I like to combine After Effects postproduced movies with flash texts and graphics. My expirience as a DJ helps me alot because i always track the music in order to sync transitions, breaks and other design elements. In the future i plan to integrate VJing and DJ/Live act with Ableton/Resolume setup.
