SYDNEY ROME started Dj'ing in 1992 (under a variety of pseudonyms) focusing mainly on private parties, one-off club nights and Fashion/Arts Events while editing the Dance Music section of Sydney/Melbourne Street Magazines: 'On The Street', '3D World', 'Drum Media' and 'Culture'.
He began mixing professionally with cd's in 1995 and moved to London in 1997 to establish the Multi-disciplinary Arts Event Production collective theforeignoffice. From his London HQ he organised, ran and DJ'ed at numerous club nights and parties all over the city, and throughout the world.
