About me:

Starting his professional career in 2000 Tamen has played Drum n Bass and Dubstep thoughtout both Ireland and Spain as well as international dates in Europe. An active promoter in adopted home Barcelona, Spain Tamen co-founded Surco in 2005 whose SURCO SESSIONS represented the full spectrum of Jungle music booking such talents as: PHACE, SABRE, MAV, EQUINOX, MACC, VAPOUR, BIZZY B, SURVIVAL, MARTSMAN as well as championing Dubstep music before any festival or club in Barcelona putting local Djs along with MARTYN and SCUBA. In 2010 Tamen has joined forces with dj Egres and Sekev creating the new collective JUNGLE JUNGLE, whose monthly night has been going from strength to strength pushing their Junglistic sounds every 3rd Thursday at RAZZMATAZZ, with guests including BLADERUNNER, REMARC, CODE and TRAX. Currently Tamen has started his first productions, and also represents the independent Drum and Bass label SUBTLE AUDIO as an international Dj, pushing the label's sounds to a fresh audience in Spain and beyond. On the production front Tamen's colab with AlienKid has been signed to Spanish MELTING POT RECORDS as part of the IBERIAN BEATS Vol.1 LP. From Dublin to Valencia, Zaragoza to Berlin, Tamen's sets, both Drum'n'Bass and Dubstep, encompass all sub-genres in sessions packed full of pure Junglistic fiyah!

Procedente de Irlanda, Tamen empezó pinchando y organizando fiestas en su tierra natal a la temprana edad de 16 años. En 2004 se traslada a Barcelona, donde rápidamente se hizo residente en colectivos de la ciudad como Bar Xino, Raval Bass y Nube9. En 2005 fundó junto a otros artistas el colectivo SURCO, apostando por nombres como BIZZY B, EQUINOX, PHACE, MACC, MARTSMAN, MARYTN, MAV, SABRE, SURVIVAL o VAPOUR en sus SURCO SESSIONS. Actualmente junto a Egres y Sekev forman el colectivo JUNGLE JUNGLE trayendo a la crema del Jungle a la sala Razzmatazz de Barcelona, con invitados como REMARC, BLADERUNNER, CODE o TRAX. Tamen representa internacionalmente como Dj al sello SUBTLE AUDIO RECORDINGS, con referencias de ASC, DISSIDENT o FRACTURE & NEPTUNE los cuales son apoyados por APHEX TWIN, BAILEY y MARY ANNE HOBBS. Como productor su colaboración con AlienKid acaba de ser editado en el IBERIAN BEATS Vol.1 Lp de MELTING POT RECORDS. En ciudades como Dublín, Valencia, Zaragoza o Berlín, las sesiones de Jungle, Drum’n’Bass o Dubstep de Tamen pueden llegar a incluir casi todos los sub-géneros en un set siempre lleno de pura energía Junglista!
