Dj Teknikz started dj’n as a hobby back in 1997. Due to his love of the artform, his hobby quickly progressed into a career. His passion is raw, his skills are unquestionable and his style is definitely ingenious!!!

Dj Teknikz stands out due to the immutability of his style influenced by his heritage and exposure to different genres of music but his love of hiphop overcomes all.

With his series of mixtapes (If u buyin We sellin, Georgia Muscle, Executive R&b and Street Execs Countdown) in heavy circulation not only in the south but nationwide and overseas, Dj Teknikz moved on to set higher standards by helping to mold and break the careers of some of atlanta’s major artists.

Dj Teknikz has a star studded resume, working on mixtapes with Diddy, Block, T.I.'s own Grand Hustle records, Young jeezy's C.T.E. records, Gorilla Zoe, Playaz Circle, Jody Breeze, Yung Berg, Gucci Mane, Doeshun, Deuce the mouthpiece, Bang Squad, Bizzy, Mean Mugg and many more! To add to his resume he also served as the official tour dj for Gorilla Zoe.

Dj Teknikz was recognized at the 2007 Southern Entertainment Awards as “The Rookie Of The Year” while racking up 13 other nominations in the same year.

In 2008 he stepped it up by winning “Best Rap Mixtape” of the year and “Best Gfx on a Mixtape” while being nominated in 11 other categories. In 2009 AGAIN!he racked up Best Rap Mixtape of the year while being nominated in 11 categories.
