DJ The Chemist (or otherwise known as Thomas-Joseph Viragh[TJ for short]) starting making music at the age of only 12. His prime influances where the sorts of electonical music... much like Darude and Armin Van Buuren. songs like sand storm where much his favorite.
TJ didn't stop there. his passion to make people happy just made him more and more influenced to make music. He starting making remix to popluar songs like Sandstorm, Adagio For Strings, and many other popular songs. He also didn't just deal with electronical music, he much enjoyed the Urban scene such as rap and Hip-Hop.
TJ Was Born in London Ontario Canada @ St. Josephs Hospital, and was born on Feburary 8th, 1989. He lived with his parents from the day he was born, moving from an apartment at the age of 6, to a condo, and to a house at the age of 17. He attanded H.B. Beal Secondary School, also in London ontario, where he stayed at untill he graduated in the 2007 school year.
Canada's main type of music was rap, hip-hop, and urban, so TJ has to adapt to those Genres of music to get pubilicty. at the age of 14, he began making music for "underground rappers" on a popular progam calling "Fruity Loops". Upon doing this, he gained alot of attention by many people, uncluding a few owners of local night clubs. One He reached the age of 16, a local manager from the "Annex" (which was shut down summer 2006) asked him to Deejay for some experiance.
TJ gives the utmost props to his parents, Brenda and Joe Viragh, for allowing him to use there house as a place to party, and practice. When TJ got into the music theme, his best friend at the time (and to the present day) also gained into the music theme. Altho his intrests in music are a bit different, the decided to join together in 2005, calling them selfs first, Team DJ 1, and then in 2006, calling them selfs the "stylus junkiez". Michael Scolaro (www.myspace.com/djmas1) is a Solo artists as well, who is a turntablist. This Dynamic dou where the perfect match for partys in the canadian residence. Being able to play both stream line music in the rap/hip-hop genre, as well as Electronical, they are easly looked up upon.
TJ Currently is not in residence with any nightclub or bar while he is still in school. he is his own record label, and is ALWAYS down for partys and party experiance, so if u having a house/outdoor party, don't hesitate to give him a shout !
