Being a dancer and DJ, Tommy has always been able to have a closer connection with his audience. As a child growing up in the suburbs of Connecticut he went through all types of musical phases. From the early days of MTV, rock, pop and later Hip Hop, Tommy was always lost in music. It wasn't till the age of 14 when a DJ at a local roller skating rink showed him the basics of mixing that he had found his calling. Taking home what he had learned, he began practicing mixing in his basement. From early on he absorbed all aspects of dance music culture even the dance. By the age of 17 he was frequenting New York City's nightclubs and began promoting himself amongst the dancers and DJ's. At this time Tommy began studying the craft of legendary DJ's. By practicing and perfecting his mixing skills, the young entrepreneur landed his first professional gig at the age of 19. Through self-promotion and determination Tommy promoted himself out of Connecticut. Now Residing in New York, with almost 20 years of experience, Tommy Bones is known worldwide for his mixing skills, knowledge, artistic music selection, and most recent production.
