Bio
........ .. .. I was born in Daytona Beach, Florida in 1975. I moved to Vermont in 1985. Then raised on a steady diet of music from hip-hop to heavy metal and everything in between. In the early 1990's I began to learn to dj, mostly hip-hop and reggae dancehall. Around 1993 my musical tastes began to lean more towards electronic dance music, mainly harders genres such as gabber, hardcore, and jungle. As the sound of jungle and Drum n Bass evolved so did my style and selection. Incorporating the art of scratching and "mashing up" other genres of music only helped elevate my success in the ever competitive New England EDM scene. This also enabled me to play beyond my region and into other countries such as Canada, Guatemala, and Japan.....Not bound strictly to the sounds of Drum n Bass, my record collections spans all genres of music and I regularly do nights playing anything from old school hip-hop, heavy metal, industrial, hardcore, gabber, punk, ambient and noise, too cool for school electro-clash and indie-tronica, top 40 jiggy hip-hop, house in all forms, techno and most of it's offspring, breakbeats, 70's disco, funk, soul, rock n roll, middle eastern grooves, salsa and latin infused beats, downtempo, idm, dubstep, 2-step, speed garage, and just about anything and everything in between..... I have played many corporate sponsored events for companies such as Burton Snowboards, Gravis Footwear, Fox Racing, Fuse Marketing, Rome Snowboards, and Red Bull as well as a handfull of Snowboard, Surf and Wakeboard competitions. I've even done a handfull of weddings. I have also played with many dnb world heavyweights as well as other genres top performers and continue to push the sounds of DnB's past, present, and future. I have held resedencies at every club and venue in Burlington, Vermont, and continually throw events at various venues, clubs, boats, and other locations in the city and surrounding areas. I started producing EDM events in 1994 and quickly became a known force in the Burlington party scene.....Now many years later I still find myself leaning towards the dnb genre and am still pushing the sound in a State normally known for Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream, Burton Snowboards, and maple syrup. I was chief DnB buyer at Joyryde Records until it closed in 2004. I recently was a co-owner of Metaphor Recordings which was responsible for putting out releases with names such as Friction and Nu Balance, Noetic, Kontrol, Keaton, Raiden, Nightwalker, and Subtone along with Spinal from Canada and Lutin from France. In addition I am also co-founder of the Vermont based Basscamp Crew, responsible for bringing many of the world's finest dnb selectors to our humble little town..... I am finally getting into some musical production. I have dabbled over the years a bit with various programs and hardware. As of recent, I have been collaborating with fellow New England native Brandon Miles. Together we have tunes signed to labels such as Abducted Records, Adapter Audio, Apparatus Recordings, Culture Assault Recordings, Dead Cat Records, Digital Venom Inc, Eternia Music, Extent VIP Recordings, Fish Recordings, Guerilla Recordings, Influenza Minus, Milled Pavement, Nerve Recordings, OffKey Music, Ohm Resistance, Order In Kaos Digital, Temper D Productions, Tinnitus Recordings, Westbay Recordings, Zardonic Recordings, and more in the works. ....Send me your track.. -
