DJ Twist A.K.A Dont Get Twisted born out of Indianapolis, Indiana December 5, 1987. Step in the world fighting after the doctors tore his ligaments in his left arm. Doctors said He wasn't going to be able walk, crawl, or do any thing. Thank God for all the prayers we proved the doctors wrong. Growing as a kid he loved to play football, basketball, video games, and DJ. At the age of 13 he got his first turntable setup. He practice everyday with 2 crates of records that he had. His sophomore to his senior year in high school he let the turntables collect dust. He graduated from Ben Davis Highschool in 2006 and went to Vincennes University to further his education in TV & Radio Broadcasting. One Day while sitting in his dorm his farther Manuel Lee Davis A.k.a. DJ Lee calls him up asking if he wanted to DJ at the local skating rink in Indianapolis Skateland. Twist said, "Of cousre why not"!!!! For 2 years he held it down at Skateland but still wanted to further his career as a DJ. DJ Lp was one the ones that took Twist underneath his wing being a DJ and showing theirs more opportunity out there as DJ. He was then introduce to DJ kaos who put Twist on 2 mixtapes "For The Haters" and Get Retardit Part 2. He was then Brought into Dragged Up Clique. Still working hard into the game in 2007 he link up with Dorrough Music collaborating and being affiliated with PTC A.K.A. Prime Time Clique they dropped a mixtape together called Naptown and Texas Callob. In 2008 Twist left to move out the country in Cat Island Bahamas where he DJ and ran his own club for 6 months. He New God had bigger and better plans for him. He left and went off to Miami having faith in God that he was going to hook up with DJ Khaled. He left in Jan 16, 2009 and met up with at 99 Jamz DJ Khaled in the beginning of March it took no time to For Khaled to bring Twist into the Family WE THE BEST MUSIC GROUP!!! DJ Khaled has taken Twist underneath his arms heavy. Showing him the dos and the donts in the music industry. Twist "Its a blessing and dream come true to be underneath one of the biggest DJ's in the game a President Of Def Jam South. A DJ whos dropped 3 albums working on his 4th "Victory". But for me this is just the beginning God is bout to put me in major position!!! Everybody's going to see!!!!! Remember I Told You
