Vivi Siexas, daughter of Rock and Roll master of Brazil Raul Seixas, began her career in 2003 playing chill out and downtempo. She quickly grew as a DJ and made the move to Funky and Tech house. Her sets demonstrated her musical upbringing and eclectic taste as the musical range and mixing ability were both creative and flawless.
With the new sound, Vivi started to draw the attention of club owners, event producers and the public in general. The invitations to play began pouring in from just about every major city and club in Brazil, as well as international gigs in the U.S and Uruguay. The combination of her music, with chunky beats, heavy basslines, her striking looks, an up beat attitude combined with a legendary last name is a guarantee to fill the house in every presentation.
Currently Vivi has been investing time and energy in further developing her career. Vivi has joined Smartbiz for DJs, one of Brazil’s premier DJ Agencies, whom have been sky-rocketing her career into the next level. When she is not on the road for shows, she is in the studio producing new music and remixes. Music production is the newest tool in her arsenal of weapons on the scene, remixing everything from her fathers music to popular Brazilian classics as well as her own original work which is now being released on labels and digital download sites seen around the world. She has partnered up with local Brazilian artists as well as international djs and producers to produce a variety of sounds and beats. Some names such as Hector Moralez (U.S.A.), Kriputs Gomez (Brazil), Droors (Brazil, from the famed Jamanta Crew) and Mike Frugaletti (U.S.A.) are whom she has worked with. Vivi has music and stage presence in her blood and its evident when she takes the stage.
