DJ Wicked's musical journey spans nearly two decades which consists of travels and residencies all over the world. Born in the Philippines, he grew up in the island of Guam where his interests in deejaying and music began at an early age. With over 18 years of experience behind the turntables, DJ Wicked has been featured at clubs in almost every major metropolitan city in the U.S. After several years in the west coast and midwest, DJ Wicked can now be found residing in the entertainment capital of the world -- the city of Las Vegas.
What separates DJ Wicked from most deejays is his diverse and unique style of mixing. Having knowledge in almost every genre of music combined with his turntablism and programming skills are the fundamental ingredients that makes him an extraordinary deejay. From cutting and scratching hip hop tracks to dropping energetic techno beats or mashing up rock classics with top 40 hits, DJ Wicked always finds ways to light up the dance floor and keep the crowd entertained. His innovative use of live video mixing along with his custom made exclusive remixes and edits sets him apart from the others.
Aside from the clubs, DJ Wicked can also be heard on various radio stations across the country. His first radio mixshow dates back to 1992, where he was featured as a live guest deejay on KZGZ Power 98 FM. Since then, DJ Wicked's top-rated mixshows have aired in different markets across the United States. Being one of the few select deejays on the radio with complete control of his music, DJ Wicked is among the leaders in breaking new songs while giving exposure to up and coming artists. He has helped launch the careers of alot of today's major artists. DJ Wicked's involvement in the music industry has taken him all over the world, sharing the stage with almost every major recording artists such as Outkast, Kanye West, Akon, Ludacris, Snoop Dogg, LL Cool J, and many more.
DJ Wicked is also widely known for his production skills in the studio. Working closely with most of the major record labels, he has produced tracks for several artists on their roster. For several years, he has also done work for Hot Tracks Remix Service, a subscription based music company that caters to DJ's all over the world. One of his remix, Ludacris's "What's Your Fantasy", has also been featured and distributed globally by Promo Only music service. DJ Wicked has taken his production skills even further to include music video remixes for DJs., all of which will soon be available on his website.
