Before DJing, Wordy channeled his creative energy as a lead guitarist for a rock band. After randomly (fatefully?) stumbling upon a pirated VCD of the 2000 World DMC Championship, Wordy would unleash his precocious talent and within one year would win the first of his three consecutive China DMC Championships.
DJ Wordy has shared the stage and headlined with world-famous DJs, including fellow DMC World Champions (Q-bert, D-Styles, ShortKut, Craze, Klever, Kentaro, Roc Raida, Netik, Rafik, the Scratch Perverts, and Cash Money), as well as Cut Chemist, Numark, Kid Koala, DJ Food, and recording artists such as, Talib Kweli, Beenie Man, South Rakkas Crew, and Richie Spice.
