DJ Wylie has been selected to host and DJ at this year's UK Motor Show (Excel Arena, London) - Europe's premier Car Show, exhibiting all the latest cars, world car premieres and concept cars
Wylie started whilst studying in Manchester (UK) DJing at house parties and small clubs in the late 90's and built up a reputation on the scene regularly DJing at virtually every music venue in the city. (Incidentally. this clever DJ has 2 degrees!) He grew from there and became resident DJ at various legendary nights in London such as, 'Cookies & Cream', 'Exposure' and 'Trinity'. Along with these, Wylie remains a resident at 'I Love RnB' in Manchester. He also continues to DJ throughout the UK alongside many of the countries top RnB & Hip Hop DJs. He is also fast becoming one of the celebrities favourites - DJing for the past two years at the prestigious UK GQ awards, previous 'MOBO' afterparties and various high profile fashion shows. Recognition of Wylies DJing skills has taken him around the world - DJing throughout Europe and as far a field as Asia (Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia) and also, most recently, Africa (Lagos - Nigeria). Last summer alone saw Wylie travel to six European locations including Ibiza (DJing at the World's largest Night Club - 'Privilege'), Corfu and Athens.
With over two years Radio experience across the airwaves of the UK, on the Galaxy FM Network, Wylie's Saturday night mixes have now become legendary. More than simply just blending record after record, Wylie's mixes also incorporate his own exclusive remixes, artist freestyles and blends.
Aside from the Clubs and Radio, DJ Wylie is fast gaining a reputation as one of the UK's leading authorities when it comes to Mixtapes. Wylie was recently signed up by the leading major record label - Universal Records, to produce and mix a compilation CD, to be distributed throughout the whole of Europe, showcasing the labels leading Urban artists - The Strictly Hip Hop Mixtape CD, co-hosted by one of rap music's leading ladies - Remy Ma from the Hip Hop super group, Terror Squad. Earlier in the year, Wylie also produced the Notting ill Carnival Mixtape CD in association with Island and Motown records. Last year saw Wylie co-mix the commercially released, first ever Princes Trust Urban Music Festival CD (Warner Music Records).
Whether its DJing at clubs, on radio or on mixtapes you will surely be impressed by this talented DJ.
...Aside from DJing, Wylie has a vast amount of knowlege and experience in the field of e-Marketing. Don't be suprised to hear that when he's not spinning records, he's deep in the Internet Marketing game!
