DJ X aka Les Elston, was one half of legendary and award winning Lab4.
A classically trained guitarist Les' career has focused around alternative and electronic music and production. He formed his first band Atomic in 1987 and showcased for all the major record labels: CBS, Island, EMI etc and received a development deal from Polydor. In 1989 Les left Atomic to play in various rock, goth and alternative bands. In 1990 he formed MAD with Richard Curtis (vocals) and Adam Newman (drums) - MAD played various gigs in London and Oxford.
