Born And raised in Brooklyn (NY), Dj Xplor was exposed to a wide array of music as a child by his father ranging from Jazz and Classic Rock to Disco, Salsa and Merengue. Also heavily influenced by HipHop, House and 80's Classics, Dj Xplor started collecting vinyl records at the mere age of 11. The love of music not only drove him to become a dj, but also a producer and vinyl enthusiast as well. It wasn't until the age of 17 that Dj Xplor was given the opportunity to rock the crowds at 2 of NYC's legendary nightclubs: The Limelight and The Tunnel. Since then, Dj Xplor has appeared and held residencies at many nightlife hotspots in New York, New Jersey, Miami & Philadelphia including : Arena (NYC), Prime (NYC) (formerly Quo & Myst/Retox), The Grand (NYC), Home/Guesthouse (NYC), Lotus (NYC), Aer (NYC), Pacha (NYC), Pink Elephant (NYC), Cain (NYC), Suede (NYC), Manor (NYC), Sol (NYC), Duvet (NYC), Show (NYC), Providence (Atlantic City,NJ & NYC), Deko Lounge (NJ), Avenue (NJ), G Lounge (Philadelphia), Opium Garden (Miami), Joia (Miami), The Raliegh Hotel (Miami), Numerous Events at the Winter Music Conference 2004-2008 (Miami) & The Mixshow Power Summit 2005 (Bahamas), as well as djing events sponsored by Red Bull, Scratch Dj Academy, EA Sports, Ciroc Vodka, Rane, Slap Energy Drink & Sirius Satellite Radio. Dj Xplor has had the opportunity to perform and share the stage with some of the industry's elite including: Kanye West, Rihanna & Chris Brown for the ''Glow In The Dark'' afterparty @ G Lounge (Philadelphia), Sean Paul @ Pacha (NYC), Slick Rick & Keyshia Cole @ Show (NYC), Aubrey O'Day of Danity Kane @ Avenue Nuit (NJ), Turntable Anihilists Showcase w/ KRS One @ Southpaw & Prospect Park Summer Stage (NYC), Macy Gray @ Madison (NYC), Nina Sky @ Show (NYC) & Avril Levigne @ Retox (NYC). Dj Xplor represents one fourth of the multi-talented dj/turntablist crew Turntable Anihilists, along with Dp One, Blowout & G.I. Joe. Currently working on a full length LP, while showcasing hi s immpecable skills through mixtapes, nightclubs & internet radio, Dj Xplor proves himself a force to be reckoned with. His vast knowledge of music mixed with creativity and the technical skills of a perfectionist, contribute to his flawless performance. Thus, making him one of the most sought after dj's in the nightlife industry today.
