Whats Up Peeps, this is DJ YEMI (Also known as DJ YEMI BLACKHOUSE), but prefer to be called DJ Yemi now..You can still call me BLACKHOUSE for those who don't like change, and it's all goood.

WHAT DO YOU DO: - Well I've been Deejaying for about 15 years in the UK and played out in some of the hottest clubs in the UK (Do you remember Moonlighting Night Club| Gullivers Night Club | Stage 3 / Bamboo Inn Night Club | Number 10 and 10 Rooms | The Mission - Leicester | Brannigans Leicester....

Well I used to rock da party back in the day. I also won a MixMaster award back in 1992 (check this out..., I was able to mix 5 records back to back using 5 Technics SL1200 Turntables all playing simultaeneously i.e. 3 instrumental beats and 2 acapellas (beat that!!) Also was a runner up at DMC Championships in Birmingham in 92 (naah...dind't win cos some people was just way to hot on the decks).I also worked as Pioneering Radio DJ at Fresh FM 107.9 FM
Leicester.

Anyway, left all that stuff in 2001 and became a gospel DJ. Also have my own record label Set Apart Records - www.setapartrecords.co.uk and take on a role as an Executive Record Producer. (no phat limos and caviar at the mo though, just me, myself and the studio)

I'm also a Youth Minister at my church in Brent Cross, London - Jesus House For All Nations London (or you can call us Jesus House For Short) . Also do an inhouse radio slot for the church too (rumour has it that its going to go live out of the church so watch this space)......Got a bunch of lovable, talented, youth in our church called VISION. The best youth church in the UK as far as I'm concerned.

WHAT HAVE I DONE RECENTLY : 1. Executively produced a Mix tape / CD, "Double Portion", Redeemed Beats, (check out my boy Karl Nova on www.myspace.com/karlnova produced Vinyl Exclusive remixes of Versions of tracks (won't mention though). 2. In April 2007, Released UK Urban Gospel Mix CD with authorised cotent - over 1,100 copies distributed to date - 10-08-2007)
