MAS FUEGO is a drum'n'bass event situated in the city of Kobe.
From its conception in 2002, MAS FUEGO's goal has been to provide
the artist/DJ and its fans with the freedom to express his or her creativity. This broad musical canvas allows new and old club-goers alike a chance
to be directly involved in the event's shape and sound.
The name "MAS FUEGO" is derived from the Spanish translation of the
term "MORE FIRE," encouraging participants to GET FIRED UP and
to heat up the action on the dancefloor. It also carries a deeper,
secondary meaning: "GET WILD and CRAZY." Without the key elements
of the DJ providing the tunes, the MC providing the lyricial bursts, and
the crowd providing the energy, a club is just a room with speakers and
turntables, but no soul. MAS FUEGO was created as a catalyst that
enables all of the componenets to come together to create a vibrant and dynamic music environment.
MAS FUEGO's DJ's and MC's represent a diverse spectrum of the club and dance scene. They come from all walks of life...JAPAN, the U.S., the U.K.,
Australia... Although the event focuses mainly on the swift-pitched and
hard-hitting sounds of drum'n'bass, MAS FUEGO's artists often reach out
into other genres: HIP HOP, HOUSE, and RAGGA/JUNGLE.
Music with no borders... MAS FUEGO is truly an event that is groundbreaking
