DJ Zimmie Bio
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, DJ Zimmie was brought up on an eclectic mix of classic rock, metal, jazz and hip hop. As he matured, his tastes expanded and he explored musical instruments and turntables. After living in several major cities around the country, Zimmie returned to Pittsburgh to make his mark. In a short time, DJ Zimmie had quickly built a reputation as a first class party rocker. His vast musical knowledge, eclectic song selection and creative mixes made him a staple in the nightlife scene of Pittsburgh. The desire to spread his wings and take his career to the next level led him to the West Coast, first to LA then to Portland. His skill and professionalism have made him the DJ choice of companies such as SCION, Puma and Red Bull as well as a fast-rising talent nationally. He's shared the stage with legends such as DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ AM, DJ Premier, Z-Trip & De La Soul in cities from NYC to LA to Vegas.
