Pedro Bastos aka DJ zorGan, natural de Albergaria-a-Velha - Aveiro, começou no djing e a ligar-se à música desde muito cedo (por volta dos 5 anos de idade), por influência de seu pai, também DJ. Começou por tocar piano e mais tarde bateria, o seu interesse pela música foi crescendo e com a idade o gosto ficou mais apurado, "... um dia reparei que gostava mais de música electrónica do que outro estilo qualquer." diz DJ zorGan. zorGan, como gosta de ser conhecido, é DJ e Produtor, a selecção musical varia entre vários estilos, como, electro-house, techno/minimal, tech-house e house-comercial. No seu currículo conta com diversos trabalhos, em que fez parceria com outro DJ, com o estilo bastante diferente (Música Africana), dando a conhecerem-se pelo nome de "Afro-House Lovers", apesar de terem terminado a dupla, após o primeiro ano. Em 2006, é convidado por DJ Who (Tomé Rodrigues) para DJ residente da discoteca Club8 (Aveiro). Em 2007 re-edita uma música com o tema de "Groovewatchers-Bugbear" com o acrescento da voz de Daft Punk, ficando com o nome de "Groovewatchers vs Daft Punk-Bugbear(DJ zorGan Edit)" o que lhe deu bastante sucesso. Trabalhou como DJ principal numa rádio, inaugurando-a, sendo conhecida por Electronic Music Radio e colaborou também na Rádio UNI-FM, passando alguns sets. O reconhecimento do seu trabalho tem levado a um aumento de participações e convites, pertencendo a uma agência de DJ's e Produtores - "HAW Agency", sendo representado pelo seu próprio manager, Patrick Caetano. Em 2008, progrediu bastante na sua carreira, vindo fazer festas através da sua agência, com DJ's muito conhecidos, isto é, com alguns dos melhores DJ's do país, assim como, Miguel Barros, Nuno Clam, Peter G & Superfreak (das melhores duplas nacionais), entre outros... Ocupou várias discotecas/bares do seu país, assim como, ACT, Axé Moi, Arena, Fénix, Brasileirinho Club, French Caffe, Quizz Caffe, etc, e com grande privilégio tocou no Palácio da Borralha. Organizou também a sua festa de aniversário, na Praça Velha (Coreto - Alb.ª Velha), onde teve grande sucesso. No dia 16 de Julho de 2008, foi passado na rádio Antena 3 uma das suas produções, conhecida pelo nome de "Fauna Flexion". Ainda em 2008, DJ zorGan, é convidado a ser representante de Aveiro pela Portugal Dance (www.portugaldance.pt). Já em 2009, é convidado para residente de duas casas, a Arena, uma nova discoteca e o Quizz Caffe, em que pela segunda actuaçao no Arena, ocupa a cabine com Miguel Barros e com a presença de Merche Romero. Para breve, estará disponível o seu albúm com as suas produções.

[BIOGRAPHY - EN] Pedro Bastos also known as DJ zorGan, born in Albergaria-a-Velha – Aveiro, started Djing and connecting to music since an early age (around 5 years old), by influences of his father who also happened to be a DJ. He started to play the piano and later the drums, his interest for music grew with age and in time his ears got sharper, “… one day I noticed that I liked electronical music alot more than any other style of music.” Says DJ zorGan. zorGan, since he likes to be known, is a DJ and a producer, his musical diverses in different styles, like, for example, electro-house, techno/minimal, tech-house and comercial-house. In his curriculum there are several jobs, in which he partnered up with another DJ with a very different style (African Music), giving themselves be known by the name of “Afro-House Lovers”, despite ending the partnership after the first year. In 2006, he is invited by DJ Who (Tomé Rodrigues) for Resident DJ in the disco Club8 (Aveiro). In 2007 zorGan re-edits a song with the theme from “Groovewatchers-Bugbear” adding the voice of Daft Punk, ending up with the name of “Groovewatchers vs Darf Punk-Bugbear(DJ zorGan Edit)” which was very sucessful for him. He worked as main DJ in a radio station, which was in fact new, known as Electronic Music Radio and also colaborated in the Radio UNI-FM, flipping some music by. The recognition of his work has been leading to the rise of participations and invites, coming from na agency of DJ’s and Producers – “HAW Agency”, being represented by his own manager, Patrick Caetano. In 2008 he progressed alot in his carreer, doing several parties through his agency with alot of known DJ’s, that is, some of the best DJ’s in the country like Miguel Barros, Nuno Clam, Peter G & Superfreak (one of the best national duo’s), amongst others… He occupied several discos/bars in his country, giving the example of several we would have, ACT, Axé Moi, Arena, Fénix, Brasileirinho Club, French Caffe, Quizz Caffe, etc, and with great privilege he performed in Palácio da Borralha. zorGan also organized his own birthday party, in Praça Velha (coreto – Albergaria-a-Velha), where he had great success. On the 16th of July 2008, Antena 3 Radio station aired one of his creations known by the name of “Fauna Flexion”. Still during 2008, DJ zorGan, was invited by Portugal Dance ( www.portugaldance.pt ) to represent Aveiro. Now in 2009, DJ zorGan is invited to be resident of two houses, Arena, which is a new disco and Quizz Caffe. In his second act in Arena, zorGan occupies the spot with Miguel Barros along with the presence of Merche Romero. Soon, an album with his productions will be available.
