Zosma (spin twist rec. / northern-germany)
style: flexible energizing funky freaky and groovy pumping progressive psytrance with different influences of elektronic styles like elektro and progressive house
History:
- 1980 daniel aka zosma was born in the east side of northern-germany, got his dj-name from one of the stars in his sign of the zodiac “lion” in space
- 1991-1994 first steps in mixing tapes
- 1994 starts to learn professional djing, first vinyl from laurent garnier "astral dreams", daniel is a 90..s techno-kid and grows up with that in the past new kind of music. In the following years he tried near all kinds of elektronic styles like techno, house, hardcore, trance, and breakbeats ...
- 1998 he transformed to a progressive psytrance dj, first record atmos - "klein aber doktor"
- 1999 began to organize indoor parties like "zoskarilonky" with today in good times near 800 guests, booked act..s like aerospace, ace ventura, feuerhake, vaishiyas, neelix, magnetrixx, montagu & golkonda ...
- 2000-2005 label dj @ jum jam rec.hamburg (r.i.p.) and compiled there his first compilation called "beatport 2" in 2004 under the project “vaishiyas”
- 2001-2005 co-founder of "vaishiyas" together with hannes (head of spin twist rec.), daniel was envolved in this project for over 4 years and released the album "flaxid" on jum jam rec. 2002 and some tracks for compilations on plusquam-, flow-, rec., ...
- 2005 first label dj of spintwist records
- 2007 own compilation called v.a. straight forward on spin twist...now he..s happy to be in work for his 3rd compilation tshitraka vol. 5 for blue tunes rec.
- dj-set..s in countries like uk, greek, italy, portugal, sweden, danemark, netherlands, japan and switzerland and metropols in germany like berlin, hamburg, cologne, munich ...
- played on big parties in germany like tshitraka, psychedelic circus, two moons, fusion festival, indian spirit, full moon ... and many small good in- and outdoor parties with 100 - 1000 guests
