My mother was my hero. She came to a foreign country at the age of 16 and never returned. She gave birth to 6 children and thank God never lost her sanity! She never uttered a curse word and cherished everything she had. She lived her life completely for her children and always made sure we were taken care of to the best of her abilities. My father was my other hero. He used his skills as a watchmaker and jeweler until he was no longer capable to move his sweet little hands. An ordained minister who shared with us a love so genuine and pure. He died so gracefully although he knew everyday his body was becoming weaker from Lou Gehrig's disease.
