Okay, recording took longer than we thought, but actually putting the album out now is faster than we expected: Release will be March 29th! Go find your easter egg :-)

We love pop music and analogue synthesizers (check out our gear here!) We have released a mini-album that was mixed by Bob Kraushaar (you might know him from productions with the Pet Shop Boys, a-ha, Erasure, OneTwo, The Human League, Gang of Four, Apoptygma Berzerk and others), you can buy it at amazon, iTunes and other shops.
We have also recorded some more songs with Bob, you can listen to them here and check out other stuff he did on his myspace.
We also love collaborating with other musicians and bands, we have remixed songs for Cavedoll and Apoptygma Berzerk and have recorded a duet with Chilean electro pop band Redulce. We have performed as opening act for the Pet Shop Boys, The Ting Tings, punk icon Nina Hagen, Paula, and British superstars La Roux.
Enough bio! Please watch this video of our appearance as support of the TingTings:

Here's what some press people think:|
Don't miss the concert of Palomino at the "Traenenpalast" nor a trip to "Roter Salon", where DKDENT and Smatka Molot are fighting the battle of Good & Evil: Electro-Pop meets Brachial-Elektro! 030 Magazine, Berlin DKDENT expensive and good? Awesome bandname! Retro-electro-pop live at the Spandau. Smells like Hip Teens. Offculture Magazine, Poland A glamourous pop duo inaugurating the stage at the Spandau. Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung Gorgeous loungepop. Fritz, Kassel Their first-class sound and their charm, wit and esprit. Szene Kassel This duo is on the way to the top! SMAG Magazine The male-female duo from Cologne plays lively, melodious pop between sixties and electronics. Prinz, Cologne A small but nice gig at THE venue of good musical taste! A man, a woman, a couple of electronic devices and other instruments, francophile pop. Westzeit Magazine Melodious popsongs, played on anything that has keys... Schnuess, Bonn Dirk and Stephanie want to enter the radio stations and the clubs. Their songs are just made for that! Koelner Stadtanzeiger From time to time the Gleis 1 also hosts awesome concerts: Like on friday, january 16th, when DKDENT are giving a definitely adorable guest performance. HNA, Kassel Finest electronic pop music. Fritz, Kassel (with DKDENT as cover picture!) DKDENT, high-class electro-pop. HNA, Hannover Dirk Krause turns the knobs and Stephanie adds grand-naive vocals. On stage they realize this fragile electronic pop with an accordion and organs. Kulturnews Hannover They combined keyboards und live vocals, mixed archaic- analoge and electronics and were not afraid to add an accordion or an electronic melodica. The two present chansons and rock, their gig rather resembling a relishingly staged cinematic performance than a solid club concert. TAZ, Hamburg Awesome electronic pop to shake your heinie. Prinz, Hamburg To say that they make synthpop is to put far too constricted limits on their music. To say that DKDENT make unusually talented charming popmusic is more accurate. Spraydio, Sweden The discovery of the year! Chrecas Music Magazine, Germany Serenity is what they bring! SEN Magazine, Netherlands If you're looking for jovial electronic art with plenty of foreign flair, do not hesitate picking up DKDENT's debut EP. This is where electronica and pop kiss.
