JONNY CASH spent a luxurious 6 days at the top of the Radio Six Int'l Song of the Year Chart from 17 to 23 December 2005 when 'This Is A Cry For Love' by Never The Bride out VOTED us.... good luck to the winners.. but Jonny Cash is a hell of a good song. About Diamond Kitty.. the Diamond Girl: While searching the Internet for images to complement a song I'd written for a friend - "Nancee (Queen of the Rodeo Circuit) - I came across a website devoted to Cowgirls in the old West and particularly to Kitty Canutt - the 'Diamond Girl'. Her story is the inspiration for the Rough Diamonds CD; her spirit a revelation. Thus, all songs in this project come under the name Diamond Kitty. No 'Bling!' about it. ROUGH DIAMONDS: All songs (words and music) written, produced and performed by Electra Cliffton Smith (with Ian Jones on **Kitty Kitty).
