In February of 2001, the South Florida based band, DKLIMB, formed with very humble intentions--but with an intense obsession to make great music. In a time where most bands folded after months of being together, DKLIMB was persistent and worked arduously to form a cohesive unit that would one day be able to defy the stagnancy of the conventional sound that most bands were going for, and showcase something diverse and original. .

Five years later, and after a series of lineup changes and a relentless amount of work, DKLIMB has progressed from a dream to a tangible touring juggernaut with the ability to impress and inspire. In early 2005, DKLIMB struck interest in the infamous Eulogy/Hand Of Hope Records and within a few months a partnership was formed and both the band and the label started work on what became "Defy Define Definition". Months later the record was released nationally, with press in magazines such as Alternative Press and AMP. "Defy Define Definition" became the top seller its first week in select music stores around the country, and DKLIMB feverishly worked to make sure that the record was heard by all. .

With 8 national tours under their belt, along with the opportunity of sharing the stage with many incredible acts, DKLIMB continues to demonstrate their mantra of making music independently minded, and performing it with a raw, candid intensity that has been absent from the music scene for years. The future of DKLIMB consists of rigorous touring, and becoming an established act in the current and future rock music scene.
