I am a London based DJ and producer, originally from Finland,founder of HOURSCLUB and HOURS record label. At the moment, I am very much into minimal and experimental sounds, but I sometimes do like maximal music as well, especially when remixing tracks.
As a producer, I am influenced by Stockhausen and Pollock(1950-60s avant-garde musicians), seventies disco era, and of course, 80s electronic music revolution.Circo Loco is musically very contemporary and I love the experimental side of things, tribal rawness and they dare to bring to the club scene.The minimal music scene in East-London itself can be very inspiring.
Year 2008 was very exciting for me, I became a full-time musician, producing tracks, promoting and Djing at the same time. Last year I got involved with D-JOUST DJ Competition, I judged the london heat in August and hosted the last London Heat at Plan B in Brixton.
In August 2008 my first remix, "Dreamin" was released on eM. Experience album.eM is an up and coming, cutting edge producer and singer based in Melbourne. There will be more collaborations with me and her in the future.
This year, I am concentrating on finding more weird sounds. My record label, HOURS, will be launched and I am starting a collaboration with the legendary Trade DJ Malcolm Duffy who will be releasing tracks on my record label.
