DLK ENTERPRISE (DLK) originated from a group of 6 kids who grew up in the Freedom West projects in San Francisco Fillmore’s Western edition. With a passion for music ever since the Sugar Hill Gangs, Egyptian Lovers, on to the N.W.A’s, Ice-T’s, and Slick Rick’s which influenced us to make and create our own music (With two radios, instrumentals, tape recorders, that old school shit). From the late 80’s to the mid 90’s, from what began as a recreation for fun started becoming a serious hobby. From the mid 90’s to the mid 2000’s we had a solid sound and began building a small fan base and street recognition. With a small buzz only getting bigger and five dollar mike on the beats only getting better and his cousin V-Town getting his feet wet with the beats already banging, we knew it was time to try too do something with this DLK music. Being as it is, being raised in San Francisco, Fillmore and the Bay Area it is so much hungry talent ready to explode over some thug beats and give the world what it needs (some old school 90’s era Bay Area slap to come back to life and do what it do). With not only the Bay anticipating the Bay, but the whole world anticipating the bay. DLK has linked up with multiple Bay Area artists to do just that, bringing that real bay heat back. (Not saying that it aint in motion right now, some cats is definitely doing they thang, its just we trying to be a apart of this whole bay movement to greater heights). With a new DLK sound and the young fresh producers we linked up with that’s bringing that pressure to bust your back. Now that projects back to back to back is getting pressed up and we plugged in Koch distribution. In 2009 DLK Enterprise is ready to unleash an arsenal of material, so when you see that DLK stamp that bat with the nails threw it you gonna know for once in your life you didn’t waste your money on a half ass CD.
