About me: Hairspray, white-out, and gasoline, these are a few of my favorite things. I’m addicted to peoples court, m cafe, iced coffee, and my blackberry. You most likely will find me working, at the gym, in bed reading, sippin on some champy with Lauren at the palazzos, or stuck in traffic rockin out, sunroof open, in my 3 series.
I’m a first degree scorpio... aka i'm crazy, in every sense of the word. My mom is my best friend and I have the greatest friends in the world, but need my alone time. I have a love-hate relationship with LA, I don’t like to be rushed, I will show up when I show up, then when I walk through, it's on and crackin. My alter ego is Tanisha (you rub me the wrong way, I pop OFF). I’d rather you text me than call me. in the center of the fire
with me
and not shrink back.
It doesn’t interest me where or what or with whom
you have studied.
I want to know what sustains you
from the inside
when all else falls away.
I want to know if you can be alone
with yourself
and if you truly like the company you keep
in the empty moments.
I must not care too much of being alone, nor that which I cannot change. Like all of us in the storm between birth and death I can wreck no great changes in the world, only the small changes for the better. I hope in the lives of those I love, which means to live I must care not what I am, but what I can become; not of the past, but of the future; not even so much of myself, but of the bright circle of friends and family who provide the only light in which I am able to flourish.
